Don't get me wrong, I love ai but I don't really consider it real art. Yes, it can take time and be an original Idea, but the ai generator is not a human. I slip up and call it art sometimes but mostly I call it "Ai Images." I do real art, but again i'm not against ai images. I am against selling ai images though, as It isn't fair because there's less effort in them than real art. Goodnight everyone and have a great rest of your day!

i agree! i normally consider myself an artist, and doing 'real art' is so much harder than using AI. It is sometimes a shortcut to what you wanted to create, but I feel like the image is not truly yours, even if you created an original idea and the prompt. It is more collaborative and you barely have to do anything to achieve it. You could even use chatgpt to create the prompts!
I used to make art in the past, but my muse left me over a decade ago. This allows me to smile at something I "made" and have always shared my "images" not art created this way. Don't stop making this stuff, whatever you call or consider it.
