Cassalid Neff, Winged Knight, Trainer of Lizard Horses

In the shadow of Mount Torashi, where wind howled through jagged peaks and snow kissed valleys lay shrouded in thick mist, Cassalid Neff, the orange winged knight, surveyed his charges and mounted a particularly spirited animal.

Yunche or lizard horses, as they were called, weren't the graceful steeds of Breovost's noble houses. These scaled beasts, with nearly impenetrable hides the color of slate stone, were a breed born of ancient thaumaturgy, a legacy of forgotten wars.

The Yunche were fierce, nearly impervious to magic, and Cassalid was the finest trainer in the Orange Legion, it was his duty to ready these mounts for the coming battle.

Cassalid, his wings spread wide, studied the beasts restless movements. His eyes, the color of a summer sky, held a depth of understanding. He wasn't just a knight, he was a Whisperer, a binder of souls.
