Dragon Fantasies
Hello, I recently checked DelaCabras page and noticed that they have blocked me. I logged into an alt and saw that they deleted all of their images too. Im not sure what happened because I havent checked their page in months, but I think I know why they blocked me. My model "Physced Surrealism" uses some images they have generated, and some from other sites like midjourney. I saw that they did comment on a creation made with my model, but their comment wasnt a negative one. It was a nice comment. Im sad to see Dela go, they were the main reason I made that model, to come even close to their beautiful creations. They were a huge inspiration for me for a while too. I am so sorry DelaCabra, If you want me to delete the model please let me know. So if anyone knows what happened, (why they blocked me and why they quit) please tell me! Thanks!

Not sure I would call it a mistake. It is really just not on to use someone images to make a model! I did notice at the time that it looked a lot like Dela's work but did not have the fantasy to imagine you would have used their images! I can see you haven' t even unpublished the model, so this is not much of an excuse tbh. I understand completely why they have blocked you! please unpublish the model and all works associated with it or I will report this. Thank you

you have an alt account? that sounds quite questionable too! I guess it's a learning curve but community standards to say not to use other people's art to create loras and also that one should only have one account to avoid vote and like manipulation. x
admiration and respect for a creator can turn into something different if untempered by sagacity.
I doubt they left simply because you used their work in a model though, I feel a lot more was going on to make them and many others feel disillusioned with NC.
Assuming everything someone does is entirely about something you do or say can also lead to you feeling less self-worth than you should have.
I've been sad that many creators I enjoyed chatting with or whose work I admired have gone, for many reasons.. but i know they did it usually because they needed to explore new avenues in life or art. Such is life, we can't cling to certainty forever.
You will be ok. They will be ok. Life just can't freeze where we want it to. x
