As a neighbour, it took me some time to learn that when the Irish say this, they’re not saying that everything will be utterly fantastic and exceed all your expectations; they just mean it will be okay.

I love this! The Manx equivalent is "Oh, she'll be right!" The other, when someone wants to know when a job will be done, is "Traa dy liooar", meaning "Time enough."
