Multi-modal models have the capability through computer vision to interpret an image. This makes them excellent at editing images.
Prompting the model to detect and search for features or attributes in a start image can help it to think about what is present, and lead to a succesful result when prompting to change portions of the image.
The prompt in this example does the following:
- defines that there are four different colors and to detect them
- gives instructions on different patterns/textures to apply to the image on a color by color basis
These generative text to image models will not always get it correct. Experiment with different ways of explaining what you want to detect or edit.
