What is also important, as every witch, after eating someone, she could change to good looking woman. In slavic fairytales, BabaYaga often eating young princes who got lost in the woods, while trying to find their kidnapped princess. BabaYaga pretend to be a kind, wise wicca who offer help to prince, but then she eat him. 
'Thanks' to movies most of people knows her as a 'russian' folklore, it is not. East-Slavic folklore exist for thousands years, much longer then russia itself, and its is part of slavic paganism.
