Series-9.5 hand study #1

Idea:

Series-9.5 having 4 fingers instead of 5, and having 2 thumbs other than 1 would:

1. Be visually distinctive.
2. Give them a strong grip.
3. Be easier for their 3 brains to manage.
4. Be useful when climbing, swimming, or using their arms as "legs."

Having 5. dexterous toes per rodent-like foot preserves the full functionality that both mice and rats enjoy plus, like frogs, their main propulsion power comes from their legs.

Being both desert-adapted plus powerful swimmers, 5 long toes spreads weight more effectively than 4 such toes would.

Lastly: 5 claws are deadlier than 4 claws.
