Crystal Clear XL Lightning
Thank you so much for the open prompt @Wildflowers77!
The idea that double chins are "ugly" stems from deeply ingrained societal beauty standards, not from any inherent unattractiveness. These standards are shaped by cultural, historical, and media-driven influences that promote narrow and often unrealistic ideals of physical appearance.
If you have to spend money and change who you are to meet a beauty standard, is it really beauty?
This image showcases a confident plus-size woman with a warm, natural smile. Created in a vibrant mixed media style, blending organic abstraction and decoupage techniques, this portrait celebrates individual beauty and challenges societal standards.

Once upon a time... obesity was a symbol of financial excess. Only the rich could afford to eat well enough to carry a few extra pounds. In the Renaissance, none of the bodies were waifish like our "models" are today. You HAD to have some pudge to be considered at all attractive in those times. We were just born in the wrong time period! LOL. Or perhaps... we "were born for such a time as this" to break down the barriers of bodies in general... to value the Spirit and Love that we ALL have within us. To shine LIGHT in a dark and cruel world. It's hard not to be a little jelly of those thought to be more physically attractive by society... but REAL beauty is from within and has no age, or size, or gender. 🙏🕊🥰
