My last broken heart

My current character in the Cairn OSR TTRPG campaign I'm playing. Although he was healed of severe burns he continues to wear his bandages as it saves time when he inevitably gets severely injured. He's been close to death a few times. He's taken on the role of medic. My first, previous character in the same campaign was a human ranger named Ahwell Nevermind. His last words as a hill ogres club came down on him were, "Ah well, nevermind." 
Og was very sad when Ahwell died as Ahwell had spared him (as an NPC goblin bandit), and encouraged him to join their company. I liked the character of Og, so with the gamemaster's permission I adopted him as my own.
