This song is regularly performed in the biggest synagogue of my city, with organ accompaniment. The odd and touching thing is, that the actor who sings it, some years ago, was paralyzed by a stroke, and had to relearn to speak. He speaks haltingly, but he sings this song smoothly. Perhaps both of you might want to watch his performance on YT. Search for "Kulka János Hallelujah Dohány utcai zsinagóga". You know how much homophobe my country is (respect for the exception), but this actor is adored by everyone. As of today, your picture above is one of my favorites.
