Cooling off!

It was hot, really hot and she was starting to think heading across town at this time of the day was a bad idea. But if she wanted to get to the venue on time and not pay a fortune to park she needed to make some sacrifices. Which ment cutting through town and the park in the heat and her heels. But sd she made her way through the park, something caught her attention. The sound was unmistakable, splashing water. The fountain! A quick pass through would be a great way to cool off! The dancing fountains were quite popular on a hot summer afternoon, but no one seemed to be enjoying them at the moment. She however wasn't deterred and waited till they paused for a moment, the walked into the area reaching the center just as the fountains started again. When she emerged on the other side she was completely soaked and giggling as she continued on her way. What a delightful way to cool off she thought and definitely something to remember on the walk back to her car later on!
