The mystery appears to continue to remain about the identity of the "Ripper"!! It is a fascinating story and all the films and their different plots have been awesome!! I believe that the latest theory is that he was an American sailor and carried out the murders when his ship docked in England! There is evidence that almost identical murders took p;ace in the USA when he travelling too and fro! I doubt that we will ever know the truth....but it fascinates us to this day!
