Q: Is there more than 1 "Soldier-13?" Your DeviantArt post used plural pronouns.
Idea: since titanium carbide is a bit denser than titanium metal but nearly as hard as diamond, titanium carbide fiber composites ought to be easier to construct than diamond fiber composites -- plus more fire resistant. (Even high-tech military cyborgs must be cost/resource efficient.)
