I think of "The arts" as the term to cover all the various types of creations out there. Somehow, over the years it has been reduced to just art. Things change...

So what is art! Generally it means what one creates nowadays and includes even the crafts, but I prefer the meaning as forming pictures no matter whether done with crayons or paint or other means. (I could be completely wrong). Where AI art is concerned we are creating with words to form a picture, so it has to be art but would I refer to myself as an artist? Hmmm, thinking cap on... !
