Looks like Ancient Greece at first--philosophy at an ancient temple; so, the treatment of light is def Hudson River School, but the Catskills don't have any pointy mountain peaks, nor any Greek Temples, that I ever saw, anyway. An interesting image, nonetheless. Makes one feel like they've gone back in time. Pindus Mountains? Peloponees Mts? Mount Olympus? I've never been---maybe they got points?
