They had driven 45 minutes only to find out the wait at the beachfront restaurant was an hour and a half if you didn't have a reservation. So they put their name in so they would get a call when their table was ready and headed for a stroll on the beach. It was a little bit windy and there were lots of waves on the cool fall evening, but she wondered if the water was still warm. Her husband cautioned her to not get to close but secretly she was hoping to get caught by a big wave and get a little bit wet and went to the edge anyway. It was warm and standing ankle deep she spun around and said "dare me?" He shook his head and said "what about dinner?" She shouted back, "I'll be fine, I'm not going that far" But it wasn't long before she was sitting in the surf completely soaked. He snapped a picture as she posed and said "told ya". When they had got to the beach he said she would end up swimming in her brand new clothes, he just didn't think it would be before dinner.
