Silas

Silas - was my favorite series for xmas (6 episodes) - Silas is a boy growing up in a circus - the book I found was written in the east German part - the film/series produced later. Silas and his companion BeinGodek are venturing several adventures where a black stallion Silas won in a bet with a horse trader plays a major role. 2 Boys, 2 horses a lot of sometimes mystic and medieval scenery makes this still rank in the highs of my every year xmas series. Silas was played by Patrick Bach, who also was besides Silvia Seidel the main character of 'Rainer' in 'Anna'. A xmas series as well (6 episodes only - if you missed one you had to wait until next year and it was never sure if they would broadcast it again ...). I loved the series. 3 years ago I bought the used book from a bookseller and now I am content that the series made more out of the book than what was within, since usually it is the other way round.
