On the Sufi Disco Inferno weekend retreat I find that I'd packed a heather-grey doublebreasted flannel sports-jacket ...It matches precisely the sweatshirt and sweatpants in which I'd been sleeping. Some of us arrive to the newsstand cafe for breakfast. I see some fashion magazines as several of us are sitting on the floor... I need to beg the pardon of a curly-haired woman to get to the fashion magazines... I don't see dates on any of the periodicals. She says, "You look like a Very Interesting Person!" I feel the need to reply, "And you Talk like an Energy Vampire!" The phrase 'East Coast EST' comes to my mind...
