The images I make via the NightCafe AI & publish are eventually made into 30mm square stamps which do in the end appear on envelopes of vintage looking telegrams called ‘HILL-A-GRAMS’ produced by a combination of computer (stationary) & restored vintage machines (text) which I mail out or deliver personally to old friends creating many ‘WTF’ moments when they are found in the mailbox of a recipient for the first time.  Sometimes they’re assumed to be junk mail and tossed.  The stamps also get vintage circular postmarks and sometimes wavy cancellation lines. Lots of fun. Back in the day, telegram companies promoted their service with collectible stamps, coupons, or cards which could be converted into free telegrams. Cheers.

Back in the day before farms got phone and full electrical service, telegrams were the way families kept in touch when urgent news needed to be relayed.  Telegraph lines to local railway stations transcribed the messages then had local boys to either bike or motorbike to outlying farms and homesteads.
