When left unattended in areas where wealth is stored or exchanged, the entity will slowly begin to warp its surroundings, drawing in loose coins or small valuables. Over time, this creature will begin to "feed" on the monetary energy in its vicinity, causing people to lose track of their savings or develop obsessive behaviors over small amounts of money.

Once enough wealth has been absorbed into the bank, the Piggyback Horror reveals its true nature. Its ceramic shell cracks open, revealing a grotesque, fleshy interior. The “mouth” stretches wide, and a pair of tiny, leathery hands emerge from within, grasping greedily for more coins. Its behavior becomes aggressive, often clamping down on anyone who attempts to take coins back from it, causing minor injuries such as cuts or bites.
