Meet Me at the Candlelight Diner

This one came to me unexpectedly. I have so many questions? Who initiated the meeting? What are they talking about? Do they end their meeting walking out together, or alone? What do you think? (Fun fact: The Candlelight Diner was one of the places where I hung out as a teenager on Long Island, NY. It opened much later than the era depicted in my creation - not until the 1970s. But I had fun naming my creation after one of my favorite diners.)
