Athena grew up on the hard side of Flatiron City, in a musical family -- both her parents are musicians, her father being a well-known blues guitarist & her mother being star vocalist in the Everlasting Love Gospel Choir -- Athena takes the music she grew up w/, blends it w/ jazz, bluegrass, & European popular music, creating her own unique sound -- sometimes backed by a full band, other times only accompanying herself on piano, Athena brings the bittersweet sounds of gritty living to audiences all across the country -- but she's never so happy as when she is playing to a small, intimate crowd in one of Flatiron City's smoke-filled bars!
