 The nine-tailed fox is a creature in East Asian mythology that appears in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean folklore. It's known by different names in each culture:

🇯🇵 Kitsuné (狐)
🇰🇷 Kumiho (구미호)

In each culture, the characteristics are similar: A shapeshifting creature which can disguise itself as a beautiful person. It often tricks people and causes illness, misfortune and even death.
