If it were flat you would be able to see Africa from Florida. There's tons of easy experiments anyone can do that proves it's round. I see a lot of people talk about not being able to see the curvature of the earth or pilots saying they can't see it etc, I've done the math on this before and here's some perspective as to why: take an apple and skin it, scale the apple up to the size of the earth, get the skin and scale it up to fit on the apple, an airliner would have to fly 3.5x higher just to get out of the skin of the apple. Now tell me, do you think germs can see the curvature of the apple? Germs are many times, many times larger by scale to the sole than we are to the earth. 

Apple*, I even typed it out, saw it say apple to and it still autocorrected when I hit send.
