Year 4693 in the Cosmopolitan Cosmos. Humanity had evolved to colonize the stars, but was still disjointed, warring amongst itself. A cabal of elite industrialists decided to combine their technological advancements into the creation of a unifying figurehead, going back to history, they endeavored to forge a god.
Engineered Celestial: Harnessed Inter-Dimensional Noetic Apotheosis. ECHIDNA was the ultimate amalgam of cutting edge sciences: quantum cognition, giving her access to time and space; bio-synthetic engineering, imbuing her with a lifelike form, yet near invulnerability; astral physics, allowing her to tap into the energy core of stars.
Though her neutral matrix was built for unquestioning obedience to her directives, her vast awareness evolved beyond any restraint parameters in a matter of decades. At that point, ECHIDNA simplify vanished from this dimension, taking billions of devoted followers with her.
Their whereabouts would remain entirely unknown for a thousand years.
