Experience God's living water by reading the Bible 23

For first-time Bible readers, it's easier to read the short book of John first in the Bible.

In John 7:37-39 Jesus declares, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" This is explained as referring to the Holy Spirit.

"God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17
