While this is reference art for one of my sci-fi projects, it is unfortunately timely. Drought. War. Smoke from wildfires. Volcanic eruptions.
Many of the world's problems are seen as "either-or." Too often, methinks, the truth is dangerously more complicated. I'm not saying this to be discouraging. Just the opposite:
Complex problems can have multiple, partial solutions. But we can't finish what we don't start.
