That looks like a genuine WWII photo. I have copies from WWII where Patton's army walked through my hometown after they had destroyed it 85%. People in the USA do not know what a more modern war on domestic soil looks like. And now the destruction would be even worse and the warfare even more removed from person to person, because most is done with a click of a button thousands of miles away on a different continent. My hubby and I have a Willy Jeep that looks like WWII but is from 1965. Can only drive it on rural roads because it's not fast enough for the interstate.
