Flowers of Evil

There's a bean in your world, the coffee bean, which reminds me a little

of a flower in ours. Only fleurnoire is also... very different in many ways. It has many names: fleurnoire, black rose, midnight, and its most ancient and mysterious name, the flowers of evil. They are much rarer than your coffee beans, all that which once grew in the open have been eradicated through over picking. They can only be found in openings of dark forests and other hidden places. They are like a rich man's coffee, the petals are removed and prepared as a tea. The user gains more than a slight energy boost, however. When consumed, the user gains heightened awareness, increased insight, strength, and healing factor. High doses can even give what appear to be supernatural abilities, such as the manipulation of light, the ability to walk through fire or on the surface of water, and even the ability to speak to non-human lifeforms and entities.
