226/ Endless and endless corridors

Should've brought some breadcrumbs, Ashildr murmured after she had turned another corner, passing room after room. Under the dust and soot it was difficult to make out the original function of the rooms. What had once been a scullery, a pantry or a larder now looked like a holding cell for dust and, strangely, Egyptian artefacts. This family must have been really, really rich and really, really obsessed.

She pushed aside the thought and knelt down. There is an awful lot of busts just... lying here in the dust. And in the servant's quarters, too! You would think they were on display in the family's rooms, not hidden away with the staff. Either there were so many of them they didn't know where to put them, or something strange must have happened here.
