The Chronicle of Noctyros

In the depths of the Obsidian Spire, where starlight is captured in crystal and silence is broken only by the scratching of a quill, dwells Noctyros the Scribe Eternal — an ancient celestial being with the body of a man and the head of a spectral owl.

Once the guardian of the Lunar Archives, Noctyros was cursed by the gods of forgotten realms to endlessly transcribe the fates of all living beings. With every name he writes, a destiny is sealed, a prophecy spun, and a soul marked. His ink is made of shadow, his quill a feather plucked from his own starlit wing.

Only a few have dared approach him, for his glowing crimson eyes see through every lie, every intention. To bargain with Noctyros is to gamble with your future.

The cathedral around him is made of astral crystal, lit by ever-burning candles that flicker with the memories of extinct stars. Some say the book he writes in is alive — the Grimoire of the Veil — and that it can whisper your future if you listen at midnight.
