“Agreed," said Larkin. "We'll finalize the report this evening. I want ready us to be ready to move out at 0830 tomorrow morning. Fairbairn, can you organize transportation for us from Edward?"
“Aye, I can,” the Scott replied. Bjornson and I will ride together. He rode with me last time. I'm sure Starfire will enjoy our company, Sargeant?”
“Oh, he would,” the Norwegian replied.
“So what's the plan for you two?” Fairbairn asked.
“I can ride, Fairbairn,” Larkin replied. “I had an uncle who had property in Billings. Raised quarter horses. Taught me to hold the brains long before I could drive.” He turned to Sister Helena. “What about you, Sister?”
“I've had some I had some horse training at the Academy, but not enough. Just trail work,” the Carmelite replied. “I've also fallen out of practice.”
“So, we need two strong horses,” Larkin said.

Brewing was an unexpected and fun flavouring into the mix
“Aye. Two Starfires,” said Fairbairn. “I'll check with Edward.”
“Hold on, Squadron Leader. Our weight will put the horses under considerable strain. And we're borrowing them,” said Larkin said.
“You're right,” Fairbairn replied. “I can arrange for two draft horses and a cart.”
“I'll see if we can get some mountain bikes delivered,” said Larkin. “I don't want any ATV's because it might spook the villagers.”
“A wise decision,” said Sister Helena.
Larkin glanced at his teammates, his eyes lingering on each of them. He looked down at his scribbled notes, but his posture eased. “That's all I've got for now. We'll present this to General Carter.” He leaned back in his chair, almost smiling. “Until this evening square yourselves away. You've got the rest of the day free.”
