Little Refugee

The inspiration for this creation is a memory from when I was a child. My parents bought a new refrigerator, and the put the box on the front lawn so my sister and I could play in it. It's not a happy memory, though, because it was one of the first times I realized how dysfunctional my family is. I didn't know the word dysfunctional back then, of course, but my sister had told some lies about my parents in school, and on this particular day we were dealing with the consequences. So the refrigerator box became a refuge on that day.
