Scott Fitzgerald (1896-1940), American novelist, essayist, and short story writer, internationally widely known for his novels and short stories depicting the flamboyance of the Jazz Age, author of the novels This Side of Paradise, The Beautiful and Damned, The Great Gatsby, Tender is the Night, and The Last Tycoon (unfinished), the novella The Diamond as Big as the Ritz, and the collections of short stories All the Sad Young Men and Tales of the Jazz Age (which includes one of Fitzgerald’s best-known short stories, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”)
