The next morning, Pipper and Julia bid farewell to the old mouse since their path led north while they needed to go west. The old mouse didn't mind. "Don’t worry, I am almost home," he said.
Our friends traveled west for a while and reached the edge of the forest. Pipper paused to take in the beautiful countryside. When he looked around to see if Julia was admiring the landscape too, he saw her leaning against a tree, watching him. "Hey handsome, come here," she said.

at last ! i have caught up with the whole story, after reading bits and pieces now and then ! it's great ! 💖👍 but... i feel some crisis coming near... 😯 it may seem strange to say for a catmad person like me, but...they won't cross paths with a cat will they ?! or maybe, if they do, it will be a benign lazy old moggy who will actually help them...? 🤞
