Nightwing

The character has appeared in various incarnations. The most notable Nightwing identity is that adopted by Dick Grayson when he left his role as Batman's partner, Robin. Indeed Richard "Dick" Grayson was the First Robin. While fighting crime alongside Batman, he founded the Teen Titans team with Kid Flash and Aqualad, a team of adolescent superheroes of which he became the leader. As a young man, Dick Grayson distances himself more and more from his mentor. An argument breaks out between Dick and Bruce when Robin is injured by the Joker. Batman ends up chasing him away by forbidding him to wear the costume again. Dick Grayson returns to the Young Titans to save his friends who had been betrayed. He definitively emancipates himself from his mentor and takes on a new hero identity, Nightwing. This new name was inspired by a Kryptonian story that Superman told him...
