She sat there in a daze unable to get the pool out of her mind. Everyone had gathered on the porch by the house and no one seemed to be venturing out to the pool. But she really acted to go investigate the pool. It looked so inviting! She looked down at her clothes. The boots were such a pain to get on and off, and her white jeans! But this was the perfect outfit for the day, red, white and blue for the holiday weekend. Would anyone notice if she snuck out to take a look. Finally she could no longer resist and quietly made her way to the edge of the pool. At first no one noticed, she wondered if she could quietly slip in without anyone realizing. But as she looked back over her shoulder, someone called out, "going swimming? Did you bring your suit?" Surprised she responded without thinking, "I didn't, but this will work, right?" Everyone laughed, but she was seriously considering. Finally someone else called out, "I dare you!" Just what she needed to make up her mind.
