Three years before his death, Beethoven was profoundly deaf and came up with the fantastic Symphony No 9 including the "Ode to Joy". Unable to conduct himself, he was on stage beating the time. At the end of the performance, he did not realize the music had stopped and did not hear the rapturous applause. This is when Contralto Karoline Unger gently turned him round to the audience for him to see the applause. Thank you, Beethoven, for never giving up even when personal tragedy hits. RIP great man.
A poignant image of Beethoven on stage, still conducting, as the audience applauds. The artwork combines the intensity of Egon Schiele, the vibrant colors of Frida Kahlo, and the bold brushstrokes of Edvard Munch, with intricate textures and double exposure effects.

I love this image so much MimTev that I actually put Ode to Joy on my phone. this image is absolute perfection my friend. It gives the same classic vibe in vision as the music does to the ears.
🤗Now I understand! You entered this image into a challenge and as a voter I couldn't make out what was happening. So beautiful - and lovely story.
