Dr. Jones a nuclear physicist, is on holiday. Taking a break from his work with an international agency that decommissions weapons from the cold war and Soviet Union era. 

Realising that he has a target on his back, Jane Bond helps him escape from an explosion. Jones decides to help Bond investigate the possibility of a bomb travelling along Ethan King's oil pipeline. 

Discovering that half the plutonium is missing, confirms the bomb theory and in turn helps Bond discover King's intentions in time to stop him.
