She looks exactly like I'd imagine Miss Marple to look!! Though she's dressed a little more elegantly than I'd pictured her. I've always preferred reading to watching a show or film but I admit to never reading an Agatha Christie book! When I used to watch TV and had cable so could watch British shows, I watched every Miss Marple ever made (over time starring different actresses) and every Hercules Poirot (starring David Suchet). So somehow in my mind, I felt if I read her books, I'd see the differences between book and TV and it would ruin it for me. Silly really.

I have read one of her books - And Then There Were None - but have enjoyed the Marple and Poirot movies.

Have you ever read any of The Cadfael Chronicles?   I highly recommend them.
