Believe it or not, I'm still working on defining this character's personality. Yet I've written several short stories that include her.

It looks like based on the description that you have a pretty good grip on her. She gives me on one hand a bit of Sister Act 2 Whoopi Goldberg or Miss Peregrine, but also with a little Molly Weasley. Like this is what I think about when they say there's steel under the silk.

Sweet Slither is a survivor, a scrounge, a scientist, and the equal of most any ninja. "Super-soldier" fits nicely.

While she can be brutally honest, she has more secrets than a kingpin's vault. Despite her obvious lack of "social graces," it is obvious that she has a big heart.

Calling her a "mother hen" is an understatement. To come under her protection is equally reassuring and scary.

When she agrees to become part of the staff of a superhero academy, both she and the students will be in for an education!
