It was the summer of 1664, and Isaac was 22 years old.

As soon as he wakes up, Isaac remembers: In his dream - a few years later - he is again lying under this apple tree. And then a falling apple hits him on the head. What a strange dream!

Looking at the many apples in the grass ("Flower of Kent" variety), Isaac smiles: What a coincidence that on this afternoon (1664), while he was asleep, all the falling apples missed him!

He looked up and saw - as in his dream - the half moon in the sky above him. But he took no further notice of it. The time was not yet ripe - for his groundbreaking discovery in physics ...
