The new track is pretty good, and all the best to their new lead singer. She has the pipes, and I'm sure she'll forge a new path for the band, while honoring Mister Bennington's legacy and memory.

This is cool. I love that subtle death skull in the black heart. Lurking-not out and in your face. I listened to it not knowing what to expect. I haven't heard of the singer or her voice. I was pretty impressed. I've had a hard time enjoying female vocals in rock. There's less of a desire to really let loose and get wild, unrestrained, gritty. I hear strict adherence to key, I hear almost operatic sometimes, which in another forum I am ok with. I prefer a female vocal to be more rough, both in delivery and sound. Anycowzers, I liked the band's original songs until that weird rapping would come in. It never meshed well to me the rap rock thing. I know it was really popular in the 2000s, but it wasn't my thing. But I did like LP's lyrics, Chester's delivery and vocals, the lyrics and music. So I don't know why I'm in the minority when it comes to that aspect. Just am. I hadn't heard about this new line-up or even that they were returning so I have you to thank for new music to listen to!
