This character concept is starting to gel. He's a pyrokinetic werewolf -- or at least he pretends to be. Perhaps it is simply a favored subset of his most developed abilities.
To date, I've imagined a type of techno-organic shapeshifters called "Polyclines." However, so far, I've only developed a few female Polyclines. He could be a male variant.
Regardless, he's definitely a shapeshifter.
