Once spotted, it will never stop pursuing. Its movements are deliberate yet erratic, as if obeying rules no human mind could follow. The fear is in the psychological torment and uncertainty.. sometimes it keeps its distance for days, other times it appears outside your door within hours. This variant is highly unpredictable. You might wake in the night to find it at the far end of the hallway, staring silently, only for it to vanish when you blink. But the moment you feel safe, you’ll see it again, closer than before, as though it’s been listening to every heartbeat in between.
