A depiction of a 'Room' in the style of Czech painter and graphic artist František Kupka (1871-1957). He is considered one of the pioneers of abstract art and his work is characterized by its use of vibrant colours, geometric shapes and a focus on movement and rhythm. Kupka was born in Opočno, Bohemia, and studied art in Prague, Vienna and Paris. He was influenced by artists such as Paul Cézanne, Georges Seurat and Henri Matisse. Kupka's early work was figurative, but he began to experiment with abstract forms in the early 1900s. His paintings are best known of "amorphic" forms, which are fluid and undulating shapes that suggest movement and energy. Kupka was one of the first artists to exhibit abstract paintings in a major European exhibition (Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1912). He's seen one of the most important artists of 20th century.
The creation is part of my Room-Studies:
A vibrant abstract painting of a room. The artwork features bold colors and geometric shapes, reminiscent of early abstract art focusing on movement and rhythm.
