In honour of Remembrance Day: My beautiful great-grandparents! My kind and courageous great-grandfather, Ralph, fought in the Canadian Air Force during WWII. My ever-persistent great-grandmother, Etta, raised two small children on her own while he was away (and then a few more once he returned!). Ralph died a few years before I was born, but I was lucky enough to have my great-grandmother around until I was 19. What a gift!
