“Fish Eaters” - a tribe encountered by Alexander the Great in 325 BC during his retreat from India through the Gedrosian Desert. The Ichthyophagi lived along coastal areas where fishing was their primary means of survival. They dried fish under the sun, ground it into a flour, and baked it into a bread. Their homes were constructed from whale bones and roofing made out of fish skins and scales.
