I am happy that you connect with him.  I am regularly surprised how few people under fifty hold any significant sense of him.  Such a shame!

If you open the image to full size in its own tab, you can see that it did follow 'somewhat' the guidance for his eyes, albeit in a hazel sort of way.

Given that the shadows around his eyes were part of what I intended, I paused with this one for a while, although I have a couple of reservations regarding the result.
