Thanks, Charlie! Crows are fascinating birds as all corvids are. I was going to rename this crow the "Undershirt Crow" but after I went to eBird to hear it's called, I saw the white part only extends around the back of its neck and not down its back. So I've decided to call it the "White Halter Top Crow" instead. 😁😆😅

There are a number of crow species that have black and white markings. Take a look at the Piping Crow (Corvus typicus). Look like a Pied Crow at a quick glance but the white extends down its chest to between its legs I knew there were quite a number of crow (Corvus) species - I thought maybe 15 or so. Nope. Wikipedia lists 50 different species!

We have American crows here and researchers can attest that they have their own dialects. They don't always understand crows that well from different regions either.
